Types of Hand Pallet Truck
1. Standard model (PT series)
Capacity 2,000-3,000 kg, with special fork lengths of 800, 1500 and 2000 mm covering short to long forks.
2. Extra-low profile (HPL series)
Suited to custom-made, wooden or steel pallets with lower-than-usual fork openings. Capacity 1,000 and 2,000 kg.
3. 5,000 kg capacity (HP series)
For applications with heavy loads.
4. Galvanised (HPG series)
Hot-dip zinc coating for cold rooms and damp areas, giving moderate rust protection.
5. Stainless steel (HPS series)
Stainless steel structure with better rust protection, at a higher price.
6. High lift (JL series)
Capacity 1,000-1,500 kg, lifting to about 80 cm. The drawback is that it cannot be moved while raised.
7. With scale (PW series)
Capacity 2,000 and 2,500 kg. Weighing without moving the load on and off a separate scale.
8. Roll handling (HR series)
For paper and fabric rolls. Capacity 1,500-1,800 kg.
How to Choose
Width
- 685 mm — the standard and most popular size
- 550 mm — an option for smaller pallets
Wheels
Polyurethane (PU): soft, flexible and quiet, suited to smooth floors. It wears quickly on rough surfaces and does not resist chemicals or moisture.
Nylon: strong, chemical and moisture resistant, suited to damp environments. It is harder riding and noisier.
Basic Operation
- 1Raise the pallet — push the lever down, then pump the handle
- 2Move — set the lever to the middle position
- 3Lower the pallet — push or squeeze the lever up
Usage Tips
- Raise the load only enough to allow movement
- Do not leave a load raised when the truck is not in use
- Stand behind the handle — this is the safe position
- Do not leave the truck in direct sun or rain, to avoid deterioration
